ABOUT THE DAY

The wedding of Taylor and John was marked by sincere gratitude and worship. Their weekend was seen through the lens that they are not the main characters of their story, nor of their wedding — instead their love for Christ, and His authorship over their lives was at the heart. Not only this, but their profound love and care for all those who joined them for their celebration was on full display.

Kiawah is a meaningful place to the two of them, and the place where Taylor had always dreamed of getting married. Not to mention, it is also the site of her parents first meeting and falling in love many years before. Their ceremony was set underneath the shade of a large oak tree, serenaded by the summer songs of cicadas and birds. Their cocktail and reception took place alongside the river where guests enjoyed classy hors d'oeuvres and beverages as they watched the sun set.
